Pointer Examples? (Solved)

PIC16F690-ICD / ICD2 / PCM 4.060

I'm having trouble declaring and implementing pointers to send a float as a string of bytes through an array. I'm assuming a float would be 4 bytes, since float is 32 bits. Can someone show me some links and/or examples? I've searched the forum and through google. Thanks so much.

Thanks I found out my code did not work because I tried to declare the pointer inside a function instead of outside the function.
