PostPosted: Sat Jan 19, 2008 8:57 am     Reply with quote

How to connect the 4x3 keypad to a pic using the kbd.c, the code does not say which i/o is for the column or for the row.

Thanks.

Search the forum for kbd.c and you will find many posts on the subject asking the same question you are.

It is best to do a little re(search) in this forum before asking a question. A lot of questions have been asked (and answered) many times before. It saves a lot of time for everyone (including you) because reading the threads will gives you a wealth of information beyond just the connections. This way folks on the board don't end up answering the inevitable followup questions that have already been addressed.

Searched them and no answer regarding connections.

Please use the forum's search page:
http://www.ccsinfo.com/forum/search.php
Type this in the top box:
Quote:
keypad

In the Search Options/ Forum box, set it to search this forum:
Quote:
Code Library

You will get 8 hits.

The first hit has a link to a 4x4 keypad driver.
