printf(lcd_putc, "OK")---we can see "OK" in LCD

on the serial port, that you have initialized with #use rs232... command previously.

I have done printf("OK"); but I have gotten <-Åþ>
but not <OK>. I use <Free>, is there sth to configure?

The #use delay line, must match the clock source being used by the processor, and the right hardware connections (level translators/inverters) are needed.

Also make sure you have the correct baudrate.

Make sure the 'bits' in the #use rs232() is set to the same as your terminal program. This has bit me a few times (no pun intended) when the wizzard stuck bits=9 in it when I actually use 8 bits in my terminal setup.
