compilation problem
PostPosted: Fri Apr 06, 2007 7:39 am     Reply with quote

Hi all,

I just have installed PCH 4.031 and since then I can't compile my old projects anymore using PCM 3.249.

I'm also using Mplab IDE v7.00, my OS is windows 2000.

To use multiple compilers, involves several 'steps'.
The first, is that you _must_ change the default directory name, where the compiler is installed. By default, all versions will install in 'Program Files/PICC', and will overwrite existing versions, unless this is changed.
Then, in MPLab, for a given project, you need to change the 'language tool locations', to point to the compiler you want this project to use.

Best Wishes
