Can´t get the PIC 16F676 in Sleep mode

I use the 16F676 in several applications, all with sleep function it works. Now I have a new project but the PIC doesn´t enter the sleep mode!

EXT_INT_EDGE(L_TO_H);
sleep();
.....

I want to wake up the PIC with Ext interrupt, but the current after the sleep(); is the same as before. I also have the ICD header for this PIC - when debugging the code has no effect!

What´s wrong?
