Indexing array one off
PostPosted: Mon Dec 04, 2006 6:10 pm     Reply with quote

I setup 10 bytes as an array. I'm using the INT_RDA to populate it with a fixed 8 bytes and they are all there in the correct order. However, at times my index is off by +1, yet my pointer isn't. I can see in the MPLAB Watch Window that the pointer is 0 and yet the data is offset by 1. I cannot seem to clear this condition without a hard reset.

Please post the version of your CCS compiler and the type of your particular PIC chip!

If the version is 4.xxx, please also read the sticky about the V4 issues.
