Abit OT: Updating MPLAB
PostPosted: Tue Nov 14, 2006 3:55 pm     Reply with quote

I'd like to get the latest MPLAB because I want to use the included PCB compiler for a new project. My problem is that my current MPLAB installation (v6.6) is very stable and is working well with PCM v3.249, and I don't want to put all that in the weeds by "upgrading". Is the process relatively simple and painless, or will I need to set everything up again?

We have upgraded from MPLAB 6.x to (currently) 7.3 - no issues that I can remember, other than had to run the little CCS utility to integrate the compiler back into the IDE.
