SPI/HArdware Question

I'm working with a 18LF4620 and I think I may have made a big mistake when I was laying out my board.

I'm going to eventually drive a Toshiba LED driver with the SPI port on the PIC.

My board has the SCLs connected between the PIC and the LED driver and the SDA on the PIC connected to the serial data in on the LED driver. I found this goof when I was trying to use RC5/SDO as an output for another peripheral.

Here is the question.... Can I recover by "bit-banging" the SPI on the pins I've got? Or, should I cut traces and jumper for now on the prototype?

If the board is a prototype for subsequent further development then I would mod the PCB. However you can always bit bang the SPI.

OK, I've got the board cut and scraped and jumpered....

Everything's where it should be now...
