Hi, May I know:
1. Which series/model of PIC support 16bit counter?
2. PIC10, PIC14 and PIC17 series instuction is how many bit? Because
use manual only shows 12, 16 and 18 series. Not including 10, 14 and 17. Are these 3 series new/old? Any special on them?
Thanks a lot!

You can always refer to the mircochip website for information about the chips. The 10's are new the other 2 are old. They also have DSPICs which are a hybrid between a DSP and a microcontroller. In the future, you will find a version of the DSPIC without the DSP functionality, yes a 16bit microcontroller from Microchip. |

As from the manual, 12 series is baseline category, 16 series is midrange and 18 series is a high end series.
So, 10, 14 and 17 belongs to which category? How many bits of each instruction length?
Wait for your reply...
