Negative float Number
PostPosted: Tue Sep 21, 2004 9:40 pm     Reply with quote

Can anybody help it out....!!

Is it require to write signed for negative float..??

How negative float can be declared..??

What is its range when we declare it as signed float..??

Can we write signed float same way as normal float in the EEPROM..??

Or we need to do something extra for signed negative float number..??

Regards
Prashant

Just use float. It is possible to do a signed and unsigned float, but you would need to make your own routines and it would be a lot of work...
Currently there is IEEE type and a Microchip type that is commonly used in PIC's - both include pos/neg numbers for type float (without signed prefix in declaration). Write some test programs and you will learn lots more Very Happy
