MMC Endurance?

Hi,
What is the maximum write cycles for MMC, can't find anything on this as all I get is people advertising cards!

P.S. What IC technology is in the MMC if you know that I might be able to find the answer myself.

I'm still trying to find answeres on this, and thought of answer question, I think I have found the MMC has 300,000 write/erase cycles, CF about 1,000,000 but does that apply to the entire device or each byte?

In other words is I write 1 byte to address 0,1,2,3,4,5,6 etc in a CF and I get to address 1,000,0000 it will stop or if I write 1 byte to address 0 1,000,000 times then address 0 will fail?
