I2C access to an unknown device
PostPosted: Fri May 23, 2014 5:42 am     Reply with quote

Hello!
I devise a communication with hearing aid via the I2c communication protocol.
Unfortunately, the manufacturer of the so-called hybrid is not stated in the datasheet addresses for communication
Can you share any ideas for accessing an unknown device Using the I2c?
Thank you!

For starters, assuming your hardware is correct, you can scan the bus for addresses

Then see if the address matches any published for a hearing aid hybrid.
Look at the data for the EZAIRO 5910, and the SB3229 as possible ones for a start. The former in particular is often used.

Best Wishes
