Hello guys!
I have a simple question.
What is the difference between these two drivers: lcd and flex_lcd.
Recently I downloaded flex_lcd driver and I don't know what is the new in this driver.
Thanks in advance!

Flex LCD, is more flexible.
It allows operation with one less pin, and is easier to setup.
lcd.c, is potentially fractionally faster when using port wide mode, _but_ the LCD is so much slower than the processor that the difference is normally not measurable.
Flex LCD, is not a CCS replacement, it is a driver written by PCM programmer to really make driving these LCD's as easy as possible.
You can setup an LCD on any pin combination, and have it running in under 5 minutes with this, when lcd.c is likely to be more hassle to do.

Best Wishes
