I have compiler version 4.081 and when I try to select the PIC16F887, it tells me "List index out of bounds (18)". Why? |

that's talking about adding a new chip to an old compiler version, I have the new compiler with the chip already as an option and it's not letting me use it. |

Re-install the compiler. Make sure you don't have any of your old, edited
files such as Device.dat, Devices.dat or Devices4.dat in the CCS directory. |

reinstalled the compiler and now the Wizard and the debugger are no longer available, keeps telling me that I need to download the IDEUTILS, but I can't find my reference number to activate the icon to download it, is there another way to get these guys working? |

Email CCS and ask them what your reference number is. |
