How can I send a variable data to an LCD?
PostPosted: Mon Sep 29, 2008 6:20 pm     Reply with quote

Confused I´ve successfully tested "Flex_LCD" code with an 16F767 device and a 16x2 LCD display. Now my problem is that other than text, I need to show data coming from variables, let´s say the value collected at an analog input or the number of events accumulated by a counter...
Any suggestions to do this?

Look in the CCS manual at the section on printf. Look at the format
strings that are used to display each variable data type. Here is a
code example of how to display a floating point variable on the LCD:

Very Happy Thanks for your input PCM Programmer. I´ve followed the example you suggested and it is now working.
Keep up with the good work.
