"Verification Results" error! Please help

Hello Folks,

Haven't been to this forum for a long time. I hope you all are doing good.

Recently I bought ICD U40 and some PIC18F4685 to start a new project. I set up everything and I wrote small test program to check is everything is working. But everytime I try to debug it will show
Attcahing.......Loading 1%.......100% then the Verification Results window would pop up. I dont know whats wrong with it..is it the ICD?

I am using:

CCS compiler V. 4.013
ICE utils V2.92
ICD Firmware V2.25

Also I should mention that I have to reconnect USB gazillion times.

It might be related to your version of the ICD firmware.

Hello, Thanks for the reply.

I updated my ICD utils software and ICD firmware to the latest one available at CCS website. But it is still showing that verification error.

And whats wrong with having to reconnect USB everytime I want to do something?

I am still reading the thread posted above. In the mean time if anyone has any idea please let me know.

Just an update.
Found out there was something wrong with the oscillator. I changed the oscillator and it worked now!
