Problem with ICD U40 --> Target was not reset

Hi Everyone

I am having one problem while using ICD U40.
Now i am using PIC16F877A with ICD U40.

During initialise ICD, the error Pop out as
" Target was not reset, check target oscillator and MCLR.
Somebody help me.

I am having the same problem with a 18f1220, but work OK if I use an ICD-S...

I was having the same problem with ICD U.
I had connected the low value resistor with MCLR(10k).
Now i have connected the 47k resistor and my problem is solved.

The answer to that is some version of ICD software have problems with internal oscillator. You may have to go to an older version.
