Problem with ICD loading

Hi Everyone,
I m using ICD-U40 with 4.020 compiler.
All things are working properly but the one problem is that, after debugging when i unplugged the RJ12 connector from the circuit and reset the microcontroller(16f877A) the program burnt is not remain the microcontroller.
If anyone have any idea about this problem plz tell me.
