I have downloaded the lastest updates but I am not sure where I can find the lastest firmware updates for ICD-U40. I have updated the driver and ICD sw.
On selecting debug from the compiler, I get a message that the ICD firmware is old and that i need to update it.
I noticed that latest firmware (2.01) in the ..\PICC directory is only 220k in size whilst the older (1.39) is 500k.
Can any one confirm this and what firmware should I be using to debug PIC18F452.
If a new firmware is required, where can I find it?
Thanks

When I bring up ICD program alone. On the bottom it says
CCS 1.39 REV#96 for PIC16 PIC18
This works great for me doing 18F452

1.39 is the latest ICD firmware. If the software complains it might be an issue with the software which would be fixed in the next release. Ignore the warning for now.

Hello,
I´ve the same problem. My ICD-U40 uses the F/W 1.39.
After compiling there is the warning about the Firmware.
