#fuses CLOCKOUT issue with PIC18F67J94
PostPosted: Thu Aug 13, 2015 7:17 am     Reply with quote

Hey all,

I am currently trying to calculate the internal frequency of the clock in the microprocessor and I am using #fuses CLOCKOUT to output the clock on pin 40 (OSC2). When using my oscilloscope, I get an internal frequency of 2MHz which is very small compared to what I am looking for. Any tips on what I could try out?

Thank you,
Ttelmah

Start by reading the data sheet....

The CLOCKOUT option outputs Fosc/4. Quote:

"The internal
instruction cycle clock, FOSC/4, can be provided on the
OSC2 I/O pin for some operating modes of the Primary
Oscillator."
