Hi everyone,
I'm trying to connect my controller (PIC16F887) to my PC (with ICD-U64) and this is the error i receive :
There I see :
I've tried to update my firmware to 3.01 but without success...
What can I do to make it works?
By the way, my second controller (PIC16F877A) is the same I tried on my laptop and it connected to 9Volt.
Thanks for you help!
To fix it I had to
1) Uninstall CCSload.
2) Keep ICD-U64/ICD-U40 plugged in. If it isn't go ahead and plug it in.
I'm assuming USB and Windows XP.
3) Go to System Properties -> Device Manager -> Universal Serial Bus
controllers and delete CCS ICD-U64 entry.
4) Now unplug ICD-U64 from the USB.
5) Run Ccleaner to clear out unused Reg. Entries.
5) Reboot.
6) Install ICD-U64 drivers.
7) Install CCSload
and this :
Quote:
There is an easy fix for CCSload pointing to the wrong file. You'll need to open the pcw.ini file in a text editor.
Search for [ProgrammerFiles] and delete the name of the bad file. Save and exit, then start CCSload.
still doesn't work..
any ideas?

Email CCS support and ask them what to do. Give them a link to
this thread. Give them your name and your CCS user number.
