ICD-U64 12f675
PostPosted: Mon May 25, 2009 8:19 am     Reply with quote

A simple question just to be sure:

Can I program a 12F675 with the ICD-U64 while:
#FUSES INTRC_IO, NOMCLR, PROTECT, NOCPD, NOWDT, BROWNOUT, NOPUT
SO: internal oscillator and IO for the NOMCLR-pin is used.

The controller is directly connecteded to the 5-wire programming connector with short wires and has a 47K resistor from the MCLRpin to VDD and there is no noise at the lines.

This question because according the programming specifications ONLY the "VPP-first" mode can be used. Therefore the internal jumper of the ICD-U64 (which feeds the controller with 5V) must be removed.
But now the controller has no 5V power anymore??

Best regards,
Bas
