How can I change from fast mode to normal mode (ICD-U40)? |

I'm working on a 3.8V circuit and the debugger warned me that fast mode may not work reliably. It didn't tell me how to change it though so I poked around in the documentation, Googled, etc. etc. and I still can't find it.
Is this something that is changed in the CCS PCWH IDE? I'm using a PIC18F2525 if that matters. I see that other people have changed it on the forums so I must be missing something obvious. All I want to do is to change normal mode to avoid the warning and any possible problems that may crop up.
Thanks in advance! |

I don't have the CCS IDE but no one else has answered.
Almost certainly, the setting is the debugger configuration menu
or some similar menu. |

Using the ICD software, click "Advanced" in the lower-right corner. Then you'll find "Program Modes" (Fast/Normal) on the left of that dialog.
I think you can access this from the IDE Debug/Configure (but not sure).
Hope this helps,

I'm using the newer software called "ccsload". I can't, for the life of me, find the equivalent of the advanced options there. I don't see this option anywhere. Everything else is easy to find but not this one.
I'll keep looking, if anyone figures it out, please post here. I'll do the same once I find it (with screenshots if possible). |
