18f2431 PLL
PostPosted: Thu Nov 01, 2012 11:01 am     Reply with quote

I'm using PIC18F2431 and the compiler version: 4.114
I am using 10MHz crystal resonator and my wish is to use PLL function to made 40MHz clock via multiplying oscillator frequency by 4. The problem is that I can't see neither oscillator settings for PLL, nor PLL fuse in my header file. How to set PLL on my clock?

The fuse to activate the PLL, is "H4". Stands for HS with *4 PLL. The fuse names on your compiler predate CCS 'standardising' on HS_PLL for this.
