UART Software
PostPosted: Mon Apr 27, 2009 3:19 pm     Reply with quote

hi there

Currently I'm working on navigating using optical mouse. I already constructed my circuit using PIC16F877A. Its RX and TX pin already connected to max232. I bought a coprocessor pak-xi from william. This coprocessor will handle the communication protocol. The usb mouse will connect directly to the coprocessor. How can I send the data from the coprocessor to the PIC? The pak-xi has TX and RX pin. Someone told me that I should use uart software. How can I use it?

For example ....

#use rs232(baud=9600,parity=N,xmit=PIN_C6,rcv=PIN_C7,bits=8)
#use rs232(baud=9600,parity=N,xmit=PIN_C0,rcv=PIN_C1,bits=8)

RTFM Wink
