Pic18F452 programming error
PostPosted: Sat May 07, 2005 6:47 am     Reply with quote

Can anyone tell me why after programming this pic 3 or 4 times, the following error occurs: "CODE PROGRAMMING ERROR AT 0000". I am usinng EPIC programmer with EPICWIN software version 2.45 Beta.
This happens almost with every pic 18f452, i do the same with the pic16f877 and it never fails.
Once the 18f452 fails it becomes useless.

You should go to Google and search for that error message, and put it in
quotes so Google will search for the complete string. Like this:
"CODE PROGRAMMING ERROR AT 0000"

You get a lot of good hits, with a FAQ, and a user board, etc.. I looked
at three of the hits, and each one has high qualitly information.

Use Google first, and use quoted strings. It works.

I know google, i tried searching it b4 posting, but i only found problems refered to LVP or programmer malfunction, and this is not the case. My programmer works fine. I just posted this here because i know that many experienced PIC users posts here and i wanted to know if somethin similar occured to them.

Anyway thanks for your reply.
