i've installed pcw vs 3.44, all ok, but when i try to start it a message appear 'access violation at address xxxxx in module 'pcw.exe'. read of address 00000000'

I get the same message..

I'm running with Win XP SP2, I tried to uninstall/reinstall, with different releases of the compiler but i always get the same error.
If I try to compile from MPLAB, it does nearly the same error, but with 'CCSC.exe' instead of 'Pcw.exe'.

The PC is brand new.. so quite clean!

An idea to fix this?
thanx a lot!
