problems with webserver2 example

Hi,
I have the "3.3v Ethernet Controller" kit with pic18f67j60.
I'm trying to run the example called ex_st_webserver2 and although I can connect to the server i still can't see any file or copy any file to my sd card.
FAT32 is enabled in software and formatted on sd card.
Software is set to run fut fs (so it's supposed to use the sd card) and ftp as well.
Tryed connecting and sending file using filezilla, smartftp and manually using a telnet connection. Every time I try, I can connect but transferring files or just seeing them isn't possible.
