How to resolve this problem: Invalid option +EXPORT
PostPosted: Wed Apr 23, 2008 12:37 am     Reply with quote

When I’m trying to compile the c-file containing the main method I get this pop up from pic c compiler: Invalid option: +EXPORT.

I have created a new project from an existing c code application with several c and h files linked together. I know that the code works, because someone have earlier programmed the pic 18f2420 with the code, but haven’t left the mcp-file, only h, c and a hex file are there. I want to make changes in the code and therefore have I created the new project.

I have checked that Mplab works with ICD2, and works with CCS C compiler. I have tested that with an example file and have tested to program the target device with the hex-file and that works fine.
