- Check ex_spi.c and ex_spi_slave.c in the examples directory of the CCS compiler.
- Search this forum

Hi hayee,

I can recommend the book "Embedded C Programming and the Microchip PIC".

Best regards,

It is strange for the ex_spi.c example file to be missing as it is an very old example. What is your compiler version number?

Another source of information is to use the search function of this forum and search for the keyword 'setup_spi'.

To fully understand SPI -and others built in modules of any MCU- you should go down to
Assembler, is the best languaje tool to walk step by step close to the machine, hence it
is widely used to explain the basis.
