there is a modbus example included with the compiler.

Look in your examples file

i have downloaded the demo version,but i can't find it in the example folder.

sorry,but i am still new to CCS.

The problem is that the examples, in most cases are supplied with the purchased package. They are not freebies, and are not distributable as such.
Secondly though, the Modbus one, is too large for the demo compiler...
