I have a ccs-c compiler student edition where i can get the header files for the 16f88 which i am working on without the use of the crystal can you help me in this regard

You can get it from CCS... when you upgrade to a compiler that supports this chip.

Are you using the demo version? I'm not aware of a "student edition" compiler.

Here are the student editions:

They are limited to working with only 2 or 3 PICs.
Adding the 16F88.H file won't make them work with that PIC.
