Warning: 12F683 development board RJ11 jack
PostPosted: Wed Nov 21, 2007 11:35 pm     Reply with quote

At least mine has an intermittent fault, and I bet someone else will be searching the forum because of the same symptoms: the ICD.exe application will say "target not found" and although it will have a good 5.0V VDD, it's VPP will measure 5V even during programming.

Simple fix: pry out the little wire connectors on the jack.

This is the type of weird and intermittent problem that is making history and communication the preferred majors among undergraduates today.

(No fault to CCS...this stuff just happens! Keep making those great little development boards!)

It was reported a few years ago in this thread:

(I remembered it was there).
