SD Cards Read/Write routines
PostPosted: Mon Oct 08, 2007 7:26 am     Reply with quote

I am looking for some CCS code that will enable me to write data to a SD card. Does anyone have some code that will write eg number 1 to 10 to the card and then read them back?

If you use the SD card in SPI-bus mode than it is almost identical to an MMC card, only the startup sequence is slightly different.

Please note that for MMC it is much easier to get the specifications than for SD, unless you are willing to pay a lot of money. MMC cards tend to be a little bit cheaper and have more available memory because the DRM hardware is missing.
