need some information about eeprom write

Dear sir,

here i am using 16f913, MPLAB 7.5 Ver. & CCS PCM C Compiler, Version 3.249, 34534.Also i am testing this using ICD 2.

i want to know some information about EEPROM Read & Write.
1)how EEPROM Location are corrupted,wheather reading or writing or any other causes.
2) how to check wheather data is written or read correctly.
3) i am writing multiple data at different time in contineous location, if any 1 location corrupted then how to do shifting of data
