1. You don't have to start a new thread each time. You have already have
one thread up on this topic already.

2. In most cases, I have posted demo programs for answers to simple
questions like yours. They are in the archives. You can find the answer
to your current question by searching for:

Here is the answer that you will find. An 'int16' value read from the adc
