ICE 2000/MPLAB 6.10/PCH 3.136

I'm having major problems trying to get the above combination of tools (ICE 2000/MPLAB 6.10/PCH 3.136/PIC18F6720) to work. The following error is generated:

The file c:\test\test.cod could not be loaded because the format as indicated by its entention could not be recognised.

and so no debug info is available to the ICE 2000, although the code compiles correctly.

We have the code working on a 18C452 with MPLAB 5.70, but we need more code space so we're porting to a F6720. Problem is that we need to move to MPLAB 6.10 for the ICE 2000 to work.

This becoming a majorly serious problem for our company, so any pointers would be appreciated.

This problem appeared recently on the CCS versions. I am running 3.129, and it runs fine, but there was a note on version 3.131, which says that the COD file was updated for MPLAB6 compatibility. After this point, the versions stopped working for me!...
