new to ccs and am getting error

hey im new to pics, have been using amtel, and ccs and have downloaded mplab which i think had the ccs driver but whenever i try complie it says

Error: The selected compiler: "PCM" is not installed on this PC

why is this happening?

I think you only get the PCB compiler with MPLAB. It doesn't support
common PICs such as the 16F877. That requires the PCM compiler.
Here's a list of the supported PICs. Every one that has a "B" next to
it is supported by the PCB compiler:
