TCP/IP on a PIC
Posted: Wed Aug 01, 2007 11:06 am
I want to send a signal from my computer to PIC using a TCP/IP protocol. Is there someone who could help me in this duty? I would like to see any source code, if possible.

Best bet would be to order one of the TCP/IP demo boards that are available from CCS or Microchip or others. The kits include example code and tutorials. Also would consider picking up one of the books on TCP/IP such as TCP/IP Lean by Jerremy Bentham. I am currently studying on this with the CCS ethernet kit and a TCP/IP protocol book.
This subject would be too large to just post some working code as it is quite complex, also you have to take into account the hardware aspects of it. I say this as am trying to wrap my mind around it now. At the get-go, I did not realize how complex it could be.
Best of luck,

Just do a search on TCP and you'll find a boat-load of posts regarding your question.
