spi_read() vs. spi_read(0)

I am getting different responses from the hardware when using these two commands. Can anyone shed some light on why this may be the case?

While I have your attention, anyone have a driver for eeprom 25LC256, maybe even configured for the picdem.net 2 board? Wink

Actually, another rider question to that is would you forsee any problems using the ENC28J60 chip onboard the picdem.net 2 board and that eeprom chip, which are both on the SPI interface?
