SCI and TRISC in PIC18F452 vs PIC18F4520
PostPosted: Thu Jun 28, 2007 12:23 pm     Reply with quote

Really a hardware question, but you guys are so knowledgable:

From the data sheets:

To use the '452 SCI, set TRISC.7 = 1, TRISC.6 = 0;
For the '4520, set TRISC.7 = 1, TRISC.6 = 1;

Any idea why the change? Is this a mis-print?

I've tried both ways on the 4520, and cannot tell any difference.

Thanks for your comments,
Ken

This is really a question for the Microchip SCI forum. It's about their
documentation.

Thanks PCM

I've posted there also, and submitted a web-ticket to Microchip tech support.

Just thought someone here might have some insight.
