compiler probs?
PostPosted: Thu May 31, 2007 5:44 pm     Reply with quote

What causes a corrupt project or workspace in MPLAB and there is a way to detect what is wrong? I have code that i've used for years that wont work all of a sudden. MPLAB is also behaving strangley. It just closes sometimes. no warning, no error message, just zip its gone. use mplab 7.52 and PCH latest version of CCS 4.039. pulling my hair out here.

Use Google to search the Microchip forum archives with this search string:
Quote:
site:forum.microchip.com "7.52" CCS

Get this answer: Revert to vs. 7.40.

MPLAB archives here:

However, I notice MPLAB is now up to vs. 7.60a so they might have fixed
the problems. But I don't know that.

I haven't had any projects corrupted, but 7.60a still crashes and closes frequently.
