Don't know if this will help you, as I've not used the TC35i, but we did use its forerunner, the TC35.
We had difficulty obtaining the flexible connector so we had some very thin pcbs made which fitted into the connector although the clamp would not then close properly. (I've ahd a quick scrabble around but can't find one, but it was maybe 0.5mm thick) This had the minor advantage that where multiple contacts are used on the power connections, the pcb had a single wide strip and the other end could be laid out so as not to need an identical connector - we used an identical one to that on the TC35 because of course, we expected to use the proper thing.
The only bother we had was making sure the module was adequately decoupled, but you probably know that already.

Thanks for you reply
Because i am not getting anywhere with both seimens i havedecided to dump the idea and just use a mobile phone instead .
The only difference is that i would not be able to power down the unit via remote.
I found an interesting site about this if anyone is interested
Regards
