What LCD Graphics Device/chip is recommend ?
PostPosted: Tue May 08, 2007 11:10 am     Reply with quote

I was about to start on a small simple design for a PIC based LCD graphics terminal. I want to use an 18F.... something runnning at 40mHz to drive a small graphics LCD, say 128x128 pixels.

So I can hit the road running I was interest in using some "CCS Driver" type code that my be available on this forum or elsewhere. The big question is which type LCD Driver chip should I look for when researching availble LCD's. Some chips are probably easier to interface with than others, and it would be nice use one for which people have had a good experience with and for which driver code is well tested.

Any body got some suggestions for chips/code I should look at ?

See my post in this thread. It has a summary of the CCS drivers
for graphic LCDs. These drivers are in: c:\Program Files\PICC\Drivers
