Hi,

I have found that COFF files generated by PCH v4 don't work as well as those from v3 in MPLAB. In particular, if I import a COFF file and view the disassembly listing, under v3 I would see the C source and assembler intermixed. Now under v4, I only see the assembler and essentially no source listing (just a couple of heading lines). Does this sound like your problem?

I have reported it to CCS and the response was that they couldn't reproduce the problem. I have since sent more information (yesterday actually). I can keep you posted.

I did find that 'Expanded .COD' format was better in this respect. Does Proteus handles that format?

I am currently using PCH 4.033.

/Ross.

I am now using PCH 4.034 and MPLAB 7.60 and my problem with COF files is gone. I'm not certain whether CCS made any changes in this regard, but it may be worth checking out. Otherwise it may have been an MPLAB issue (for me at least).
