Where are the example files?

Hello everyone,
I puchased V4.016 and I am currently using V4.023.
I cannot find the example files. There used to be a sub-directory full of examples and CCS advertises that it is supplying 180 examples.

Can anyone help?

You're probably using Win98 or Windows 2000. With vs. 4, CCS
decided to "jazz up" the Project and Example folders by putting a
little green 'C' on the Project folder, etc. To do this, the folders
are given a "System" attribute. For some reason, this doesn't
work properly with the Examples folder on the two O/S's given above.
The Examples folder has the file icon for "unknown file type".
It doesn't look like a folder. I reported this, and they might have
fixed it by 4.031 but I'm not completely sure yet.

I fix the problem by running a little DOS batch file in the main CCS
directory: c:\Program Files\PICC
I call it FIX.BAT. It just turns off System attribute on the Project and
Examples folders. Then they look like normal folders again.
Here is the batch file contents. The important lines are the attrib lines.

@echo off
attrib -s projects
attrib -s examples
cls

You don't need a batch file. You can just open a DOS window, go to
the CCS directory and type in each attrib statement by hand and run
them, one at a time.

I am using WinXP but the two directories were hidden.
