Does any of you buy stuffs from Mark III Robot Store (http://www.junun.org/MarkIII/)? Is this an on-line con shop?
I ordered a few items from them about a month ago but the order never came. I wrote to their e-mail more than six times asking them when they send out the items but no response at all.
Am I conned?

Beware folks.
I think Mark III Robot Shop is a con shop. I had ordered approx. USD100.00 worth of goods more than 6 weeks ago but the order never came. I tried writing more than 10 e-mails to them but they never reply.
My advise is do not buy from this website.

If you paid via a credit card you might want to contact your card issuer. They, normally, have policies that will reimburse charges that were fraudulently obtained. |

I'm not a paypal user, but I know several people who are. I also know someone who works at a bank and has experience with paypal as well. From what I understand, paypal DOES take care of fraud/complaints. You just have to contact them with your story and any records/emails that you have. |

Can someone help me to report this case to the police dept? I am from Singapore.
I paid by PayPal and I am trying to get a refund from them.
Apparently a member of Portland Area Robotic Society (PARTS) had the same problem last year. Why PayPal do not ban this seller ??? I thought this site is safe as it is verified by PayPal.
The following message is posted in the PARTS Yahoo Group on 3rd Aug 2006:
Code: | Hello, I'm Paolo from Italy.
More than a month ago (28 june) I've bough a MarkIII kit from
junun.org and I've payed it with paypal.
Unfortunately I've not received any information about the shipping
and delivery about my robot. I was waiting for the additional charge
to send it to italy.
I've tried several times to contact Junun.org using all my email
address and all the email address present on junun.org web site.
So I've opened a contestation through paypal.
I thought It was a spam problem, for example that my email was
refused
from the junun.org server, but the strange is that requesting a
refund with Pypal there is a comunication between Paypal and the
seller, so probably not email in this case.
After 20 days I've received the refund because the seller not
responded for 20 days to the comunication from paypal!!!
Until now still no comunication from Junun.org!!
Now I've bought a sumovore kit in italy and from a week I'm playing
with it. I preferred to have a MarK III instead of a Sumovore for the
ability of the MarkIII to be programmed through the serial port...
I still don't know if a day the Mark III will arrive in italy!!!!
I'm my opinion the united states and Canadian customer have better to
directly make a phone call to the junun.org responsible and to ask
the situation!!
