RTOS and SLEEP
PostPosted: Tue Mar 06, 2007 7:48 pm     Reply with quote

Hello,

Does anyone know whether the CCS RTOS has the ability to enter a power managed mode (IDLE or SLEEP) while no task is scheduled? Some time ago, I tried it and the generated code appeared to just 'spin its wheels' during idle time.

I am developing an application which must operate from a single battery for several years, so power management is critical. Can the RTOS be used for such an application?

/Thanks, Ross.
