Using ccstcp/ip stack
PostPosted: Sat Feb 24, 2007 7:58 pm     Reply with quote

Hello guys I am using the 18F6722 with the ccs compilers tcp/ip stack. but when I call this stack the following error appears

1)Error 100"c:\..\ccstcpip.h" line...: USE parameter velue i out of range NOT a number:PIN_C6

..the code at which it shows the error is
#use rs232(baud=9600, xmit=PIN_C6, rcv=PIN_C7)

2)Error 128"c:\..\ccstcpip.h" line...: A #DEVICE required before this line.

..the line on which this error occurs is

#byte PORTA = 0xF80

Since this is a TCP/IP stack and can be used with all the PICs compatable to use this code.

3)Error 119"c:\..\ccstcpip.h" line...:"You need to define your custom hardware."

This line was used with the #error statement, although the syntax seems to be correct. The error still shows.

Can you guys help?

Put the include file for the device before the include file of the TCP/IP stack.
