I have some problems with my code when it exceeds 50% of ROM. The program stops and I don't know what to do. I am using a PIC16F685 and CCS compiler V4.013

Problems with compiler
PostPosted: Fri Oct 27, 2006 12:23 pm     Reply with quote

Hello,

We are testing your compiler with PIC16F685 and PIC16F684 which was given with a 30 days trial after a contact with your comercial department. For this project we need a best compression to use the less expensive PIC.
The compiler is PCM Compiler 4.013.

When we compile our program and it reaches a ROM space higher than 50%, the processor 16F685 stop running. If we hide some lines and the ROM became lower than 50% it run normally.
I tried to use the #SEPARATE command before some functions without success. The Watchdog is disable in configuration bits.

Thanks a lot,
Carlos
